Benjamin M. Norman
Ben Norman is a multifaceted theatre artist whose work has lit up stages from The Flea Theater and Inside the Actors Studio to Blue Man Group and Walt Disney World. Ben brings dynamic storytelling to life through lighting, performance, direction, and stage combat. Recent favorite projects include The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Lighting Designer), Clue! (Director), and Romeo and Juliet (Fight Director).
Rooted in the belief that theatre is for everyone—that it should not only entertain, but also uplift and inform—Ben approaches each production with a spirit of collaboration and purpose. A proud New Orleans native, he earned his M.F.A. in Lighting Design and Technology from the University of Southern Mississippi and continues to work across the country, bringing bold, human-centered stories to the stage.
